January is a great time for looking forward to all the possibilities of the coming year. Here at LiveWell Outdoors, part of that means looking at the outdoor living trend reports that cross our desks. If you’re like us, you like to stay on top of trends, too. Let’s take a look at some of the common threads:
Trend #1: Think Big
Many homeowners in 2023 will go for outdoor living to the maximum. This means incorporating a pool, pool house, and outdoor shower into the pool area. It also includes incorporating a custom outdoor kitchen with a full set of appliances and plenty of storage into the patio design or deck design.
They’re embracing the idea of having everything at their fingertips instead of making repeated trips back into the house to get what they need. It’s luxury outdoor living at its finest.
Trend #2: Outdoor Living 365 Days a Year
More and more people are realizing that they want to enjoy their outdoor spaces year-round, and incorporating features into their patio or deck area to make that possible. Adding a built-in fire pit or outdoor fireplace (or both) is a huge part of this trend. Portable patio heaters can also help keep everyone toasty.
Trend #3: Color Trends Drawn from Nature
Natural neutrals will be big in 2023 – they will give your patio or deck a timeless look that incorporates warm wood tones, and organic textures.
