3 St Patrick’s Day Grill Recipes You’ll Love
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Whether you have any Irish blood in your family tree or not, there’s no denying this is a fun holiday to celebrate with lots of food, and yes, beer. Since it falls on a Friday this year, we’re taking the opportunity to celebrate all weekend long.
And that means getting our grill on. We’ve scoured the internet for some new grill recipes to try, and thought we’d share these treasures with you.
1. Corned Beef and Cabbage on the Grill
Although it’s more American than Irish, this St. Patrick’s Day classic gets a new twist by cooking it on the grill. Prep everything inside, or outdoors in your outdoor kitchen. 2. Spiced Leg of Lamb with Herb Butter
Lamb is a classic Irish meat, and this grilled leg of lamb recipe may take some extra time, but is well worth it. Serve with some crispy oven-roasted potatoes and enjoy!
3. Guinness Marinade/BBQ Sauce
You knew there would be a Guinness recipe in here, didn’t you? This Guinness marinade recipe doubles as a sauce, and can be used on nearly any meat you want to grill or smoke. Just be sure to let the Guinness come to room temperature to get the proper blending of flavors. We’re confident you’ll use this marinade year-round.
These are just 3 recipes that caught our eye. While we probably won’t have corned beef and cabbage at any other time of year, the other two recipes can be used for different occasions. Google some recipes yourself, and you’ll find lots of potato dishes and other Irish classics.
